We’re pleased to be hosting at Dogpatch Labs New York, the first Hackers and Founders Meetup Demo night Thursday, January 14 from 6-8PM. David Ambrose and Justin Tsang from Scoop St., a resident of DPLNY, are hosting. Full info is available at their post.

To quote David, the format will be:
- 5 Companies, 5 Minutes Each: 5 selected companies or individuals will present what they’re working on in a “lightning” format, meaning each will have 5 minutes to present followed by short audience Q/A.
- Value Through Feedback: After each presentation, we’ll have two minutes per presenter for questions and feedback about the technology, company or code showcased. Like H&F, feedback on what you’re working on is not only appreciated but necessary!
- Beer and Burgers at Stand Afterwards: After demos, we’ll walk down the block to Stand for the usual – beer, burgers and H&F!

  • Thanks for the shout out Jon. If anyone has any questions, feel free to shoot me an email as I’d be happy to explain more about the format (considering this is our first run at it).
