We were proud to welcome an number of our partners in the Google for Entrepreneurs Partner Network to Dogpatch Labs for an open and collaborative event focusing on sharing best practices and networking.

Connecting the Dots

Through intensive workshops, facilitated networking and break-out sessions, the goal of the summit was to strengthen existing bonds and create new connections between leaders of 15 Google for Entrepreneurs Partner Network organisations. 

Sharing Knowledge

We covered topics that are relevant to best-in-breed mission-led tech coworking hubs, from vision and values, to sharing knowledge on effectively working with corporates and startup communities and operations.

Day Zero: Welcome, Kickoff, Summit Overview

On kick-off day we made quick introductions in the Urban Garden over lunch. Soon after we went on a walking tour of Dublin’s Silicon Docks, reaching our final destination of Google’s European HQ. After enlightening talks from Nicole Froker and Paddy Flynn we returned to Dogpatch for a long table dinner and a few fun ice-breakers.

Day One: Workshops & Whisky

From speed networking to workshops featuring co-created work from participants, the Summit was designed to ensure invited attendees get the absolute most out of their time here. Some of the talks on the day included: Values, Vision and Mission (How We Defined This To Shape Community Behaviour) by Factory Berlin; Community Management in Your Startup Hub by TechHub ; Managing a Community of both Startups & Scaleups by AstroLabs; Operations – Achieving Operational Excellence In Your Startup Hub by Amrit Dhir of Google for Entrepreneurs; and ‘Operationalizing Diversity & Inclusion’ by Gaza Sky GeeksWe finished up the day with a whisky tasting tour and a dinner in Dublin City.

Day Two: More Workshops & Wrap Up

The final day was another jam-packed day of workshops and talks. ImpactHub and Epicentre Stockholm led a talk on the theme of Corporate Innovation: Creating Win Win Scenarios for Startups & Corporates. Nicole Froker was then in charge of a workshop on how best to create Data Strategies & Impact Reports In Your Startup Hub. The day concluded with an hour of Reflection & Next Steps.
