What's it all about?

Ulster Bank is looking for ideas that help enable “Everyday Banking and Collaboration” to improve levels of service by enriching the bank’s capability.

Ulster Bank Hackathon 2019

From Friday 12th to Sunday 14th of April 2019 the Ulster Bank Hackathon will take place in Dogpatch Labs for the fourth year running. Hosted by the Ulster Bank Innovation Solutions team, the 3-day event will bring 250 people to Dogpatch Labs to spend 3 days ‘hacking’ out new ideas for finding innovative solutions for the future of banking.

Pitch Your Idea with the Help of Mentors

Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas with the aim of attracting a talented team of business, development, and design skills to help realise their vision. Once the teams formed they will work intensively in close collaboration to perfect their prototype and pitch before presenting to a panel of judges. Throughout the weekend expert support will be available, from engineers and hand-picked mentors from across the Irish Tech and Financial Services industries, providing advice and guidance to help refine the pitches.
