Powered by Google for Entrepreneurs, First Fridays for Startups is a gathering of the tech community at Dogpatch Labs for a day of networking and learning. In the morning, mentors from across the industry offer entrepreneurs advice and insights into their respective fields. The afternoon is focused on special topics such as developer lightning talks with Pivotal Labs and a workshop with a special guest.
A curated week-long schedule of events, Diversity in Tech Week is part of Dogpatch Labs’ ongoing effort to foster an inclusive tech ecosystem in Ireland. This series of events will build up to our key event, ‘Allyship in Tech’, on Thursday March 8 at 6pm to mark International Women’s day.
We are delighted to host fireside chat here at Dogpatch Labs with Google Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist, Vint Cerf. Best known as one of the “Fathers of the Internet”, Vint is the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of the Internet.
Moderated by Paddy Flynn, Director of Trust and Safety at Google, Vint will talk about the early days of the Internet and how he contributes to global policy development in this area.
10 AgriTech startups from across the world presented their pitches on stage at Dogpatch Labs in advance of the OneConference in Kentucky, May 21-24th. After three intense core phases of workshops and pitch refinement the startups had the perfect opportunity to practice for the main event in front of a 200-person audience in the Urban Garden.
